While the end to the fight between the two political leaders from Kogi State may not be known yet, Senator Dino Melaye has not also given up in calling out Governor Yahaya Bello, especially on social media.

This time, the Senator representing Kogi West is capitalizing on the unfelt presence of President Muhammadu Buhari in the state to chide the Governor.

Since the emergence of Governor Yahaya Bello, the President has only visited once to attend  the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s presidential campaign rally in the state held on Wednesday, January 16.

"I challenge the Governor of Kogi State to invite President Buhari to Kogi State to commission at least one project after more than 3 years in office," Melaye twitted on Monday.

Recall that the Kogi State government on had announced in 2018 that about 40 percent of all the ongoing road projects embarked upon across the three senatorial districts of the state would be completed and ready for commissioning by January 2019.

Daily Trust reported that Chief of Staff to the Kogi State Governor, Chief Edward Onoja gave the hint in Lokoja while speaking to newsmen on the sidelines of the 27th anniversary of the state.
